R e s e a r c h   I n t e r e s t
We seek to identify the processes that prevent damaged neurons from regenerating following brain or spinal cord injury. To do this, we use a multidisciplinary strategy combining cellular, molecular, and bioinformatic approaches together with tissue clearing and 3D imaging analyses.  We are also interested in identifying the cells and circuits that are most critical for mediating functional improvements after spinal cord injury.
